有網友在PTT發文詢問，由於每個月需要剪一次頭髮，大多選擇就近的髮廊、沒有特別固定的店家，但他卻發現理髮價格一間比一間還貴，除了有業者過年期間從300元翻漲到700元，還曾剪過要價800元，讓他感嘆「現在美髮業好像很賺喔！」
而此文引發網友熱議，許多網友認為「百元快剪」最划算，洗加剪300到500元內合理，倘若超過此理髮價碼則剪不下去。「現在一堆百元剪髮在競爭，一般美髮店不該再獅子大開口，主要是台灣薪資不漲，日常消費太高，一定被捨棄」、「比300高的全是凱子、盤子」、「百元剪髮+20元洗頭髮=120」、「199全包」。但其實也有網友無奈表示「市場本來就是自由機制，只要有人肯買單其實都算是合理價啦！」
